Mission Øst
Mission East operates with the vision of empowering people and communities in crisis affected countries to lift themselves out of poverty and marginalisation, and the mission to help vulnerable populations, supporting communities’ capacities to organise and assist themselves, through activities ranging from disaster relief to development assistance. Our work is driven by our values of honesty, integrity, compassion, respect for all people, and valuing the individual. We adhere to national and international principles and standards, including the Core Humanitarian Standard (certified 2017). Mission East’s work is focused in the core sectors of Emergency Relief, WASH, Food Security, Livelihoods, Disaster Risk Reduction, and Disability and Inclusion. Mission East works in close collaboration with local partners, as well as other international networks and alliances.
