Dreamtown
Dreamtown is a Danish NGO, based in Copenhagen. We work for the wellbeing of young people in cities with a key focus on transforming communities into safe, green, and creative spaces. We work with three strategic clusters: 1) Through research, we generate knowledge that is used to guide interventions and evidence based advocacy; 2) Through action, we facilitate projects which strengthen young people’s capacity as active citizens to transform their communities into youth friendly spaces; and 3) Through working with stories, we empower young people to make their voice heard and reframe negative narratives about their life in the city. We work across urban Africa in Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, Uganda, and Kenya. All our projects are implemented in partnership with local grassroots, young activists, and other NGO partners.
